ATHENA PICO
ATHENA PICO is an advanced electrospray propulsion system for picosatellites (<1 kg) using high-temperature ionic liquids (HTIL) to enable miniaturization and enhanced reliability. It offers efficient, scalable propulsion for space maneuvers, supports space sustainability through controlled deorbiting, and reduces mass and volume by 50%. The project strengthens Europe’s position in space technology, addressing both propulsion needs and space debris challenges.
CIRCULARTECH
CircularTech is a digital platform for the textile sector that enhances traceability, efficiency, and waste management by promoting a circular economy. It combines Blue Room Innovation’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) with blockchain for environmental tracking and bAwear’s sustainability scoring system for real-time assessments of carbon footprint, water consumption, and waste. This solution fosters sustainability by optimizing recycling and reuse processes, leveraging years of research and validated technologies already in use.
DELTA
It involves integrating a modern laser marking machine into an existing working island, where pull studs, after being cemented and blackened, will exit hard-turned and marked, ready for packaging and shipment. By implementing this integration, the project aims to improve productivity, workforce wellbeing, and satisfaction. It will also free up valuable operator-hours currently spent manually marking pull studs.
CutSmart
The CutSmart project enhances tool lifespan in advanced manufacturing by using machine learning to predict optimal tool changes, reducing scrap and conserving critical materials like Cobalt. It digitizes diverse data streams, supporting cost-effective, sustainable practices in aerospace and medical sectors.
ECOFILTER
ECOFILTER repurposes manufacturing waste into recycled materials for filter products, promoting sustainability and a circular economy. The project focuses on designing high-performance products using recycled content, reducing landfill waste, and maintaining quality standards in the production process. Its goal is to minimize environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable industry.

TREE
Tree is a blockchain-based platform using shareable NFTs to ensure transparency and sustainability in the textile industry. It enhances traceability, supports circular practices, and empowers brands to meet EU sustainability goals, with plans for broader cross-sector applications.
WoolWalls
The WoolWalls project innovates by transforming low-quality wool waste into high-performance construction panels with acoustic, thermal, and air-purifying properties. By integrating traceability and eco-friendly finishes, it promotes circularity, reduces synthetic material use, and enhances sustainability in the textile and construction industries.
INOSCOPE
The INOSCOPE project aims to address the growing congestion in Low Earth Orbits (LEO) by developing a cost-effective telescope solution using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) parts. It includes optical sensors and proprietary software for image processing of resident space objects (RSOs), coupled with customized observational strategies. This system is designed to monitor space debris and satellite collisions, offering an innovative and accessible solution for tracking objects in orbit.
DREAM
The DREAM project advances sustainability in aerospace by developing bio-based composites and coatings for delivery drones, reducing carbon footprint and material use. Through digital manufacturing techniques like LFAM, it enhances durability, recyclability, and circular business models, aligning with the European Green Deal.
PERFECT
The PERFECT project uses AI and image analysis for automated, precise garment size validation, reducing defects, waste, and costs. It supports zero-defect manufacturing, enhancing sustainability with a 280-ton CO₂ reduction annually.
FO-CEL
This project pioneers sustainability by integrating forward osmosis technology into the HeiQ AeoniQ™ spinning process, reducing energy consumption and environmental impact. By optimizing recycling in biodegradable filament production, it enhances efficiency and positions HeiQ and fluvicon as leaders in sustainable textile manufacturing.

D-DOGSE

VBOX
VBOX is a remote, portable network solution that transforms satellite assembly by enabling off-site integration testing, reducing costs, travel, and emissions. The project aims to advance VBOX from TRL 4 to TRL 5/6, enhancing efficiency and sustainability in the aerospace sector through collaborative validation across Europe.
